I was so lucky to find two good friends while I was in the education program at UVU. I was even luckier when those two friends got jobs at the same elementary school as me. I love having Erika and Mickelle at school with me. It has been fun getting to know them and become great friends. We decided that it would be fun to get our nails done on Saturday. So we met at the nail place and just sat and relaxed and talked. It was so much fun! I love these girls!!

Happy Birthday
On September 6, 2009, around 4:30 am I woke up with strong contractions. I didn't think much of it and tried to breath through them. When they continued I woke Brad up and asked him if I could just hold his hand. I decided I better go to the bathroom. While in the bathroom my water broke, lucky me. We got our things together and left for the hospital. After checking in and getting settled we started the process of waiting. My mom came to show her support. I remember that Hook was playing on the TV. At 10 they put me on pitocin to see if it would help dialate faster and it did. Around 2 pm I started to push. Dr Carn came and told us that he was face up and kept trying to turn him while I pushed. However, he was stubborn and would pop right back up to face up. After 2 long hours of pushing Ryker Gadd Stapley was born at 4 pm. He weighed 7lbs 8oz and was 21 inches long.
He is our pride and joy and always amazes me at how fast he changes. Here are a few pictures of him
Brad and Amber
We have been married for 3 years this April. We have had many adventures together. We lived in New York and Chicago. We just bought our house in Lehi. I graduated in 2008 and teach 3rd grade. I love it! There is never a boring day when you teach 3rd grade. Brad used to sell alarms, hence living in New York and Chicago. He is now working for a IT outsourcing company and going to school.
Brad knows how to make me laugh and I love spending time with him. He is a wonderful guy and I am lucky I found him! We love to travel, we haven't done much, but what we have done has been fun.
Here We Go Again
I started a blog 3 years ago but haven't been very faithful with keeping up on it. So I am going to try again. We have had a lot happen in the past 3 years. Some of the biggest things are: the new addition to our family (Ryker), my new job, Brad's new job, buying a house and making new friends!
