5 Happy Years

On Friday Brad and I have been married 5 years. I wanted to do something special for Brad so I thought it would be fun to surprise him with a scavenger hunt. So after we went to lunch for his graduation I gave him his first clue. I hope you didn't have any doubt At the place we first hung out. We sat and watched a movie, I thought you were pretty groovy. I still don't know why, in my defense, You insisted I watch the fence. Clue #2 This is the place of our first kiss, It is a good thing you didn't miss. You bought me flowers, And I was smitten by your powers. Clue #3 On our first date, I thought you were great. The hand holds were brightly painted, In the spot I almost fainted. You patted me on the back. I hope you don't think it was an act. Clue #4 This is the place we called home, It definitely wasn't Rome. We had to walk up a lot of stairs, But we had no cares. It had a nice big tub, At night you would give my feet a rub. Clue #5 Just hours after we said yes I stood here in a pretty white dress. For a long time we had to stand While we shook a lot of hands. Here I was waiting for him to give him his next clue Clue #6 Before you asked me to be your wife, I gave you a lot of strife. Here you took me to dinner I hoped you'd be a winner. So we drove up to Park City. However, when we got up there the restaurant we were supposed to go was closed for a month. So a guy said that we should try another restaurant at the top of Main Street. I was really disappointed :( it was ridiculously expensive for not a lot at of food that wasn't very good. After we ate we went to the movies and got ice cream then I surprised him with one more clue that said. Clue #7 Through all the happiness and tears It's been five of the best years. Now let's go back in time And end this rhyme. Go to the place we spent our first Night as husband and wife. He was so surprised and excited a night just us no kids. It was so much fun we had a steam shower that was so relaxing. We got late check-out so we could sleep in a bit. We went and walked around the outlet stores. It was really fun! I love Brad so much and he makes me a better person. I am so happy I get to spend forever with him. He is the best father and husband

Graduation

After 14 semesters Brad graduated on Friday! I am so proud of him. He has worked so hard to graduate. There were many late nights, weekends, and days working on school stuff. We hardly saw Brad at night because he would be working on school stuff since he went to school part time and work full time. It has been a long road, but he did it!!

Ryker the Stud!

I wanted to share some of the things that Ryker does right now that I love. He has started to like singing, the other day I went down stairs to hear him singing the Little Einstein’s theme song. It was so cute. He also likes to sing the Mickey Mouse theme song. When we are in the car he likes to pick what we listen to. When a song he likes comes on he says "Mom dance" or "Dad dance". He likes to sing the song called "We are Young" by fun. But he doesn't know the words so he makes up his own sounds to it. I love hearing him. He likes to ride his bike; we go on walks a lot he has to ride his bike. He loves going to Grandma's house. Every time we get dressed he asks if we are going to Grandma's house. He loves chicken nuggets and gets excited when we go out to eat and he gets some. He says "a chicky nugget? Yay!" A lot of people can't understand what he is saying so I have to repeat what he says. He says “what” after everything you say. (It drives me insane sometimes) He always wants to know where we are going. He likes to say where his house is and says bye to his house when we leave. We always have to put our hands up in the air when we drive down hills. He is a pretty fun kid and I love seeing how much he changes.

Sophie 9 Months

Sophie at 9 Months: Length: 27.5 in (50%) Weight: 16.5 lbs (10%) Head: 45 cm (76%) Sophie can sit up, she has 2 bottom teeth, and she can clap, and likes bananas. She is my princess in the making. She still isn't crawling but has a really long reach. She doesn't care much for food but will eat most things with bananas. She likes to shower and to play with Ryker. She loves her daddy. She will talk to you and loves to have your attention.

Beckett is 9 Months

At 9 months Length: 28.5 in (56%) Weight: 18.8 lbs (16%) Head: 45.25 cm (34%) He is crawling, pulling himself to standing, talking baby talk, eating everything. He loves to cuddle and I love it. He does thigh works outs all the time (he must be worried about his weight) he pulls himself up on the side of the bed then squats back down, then repeats it several more times. I like to sing him the Winnie the Pooh Up down Song while he works out. Beckett likes to play with Ryker and thinks his toys are way cooler. I find him in Ryker's room all the time playing with his toys. When we put Ryker in the bath Beckett likes to hang on the side and talk and watch him/ Ryker squirts him. He likes to play peek-a-boo he will hide his face then pop up when you say peek-a-boo. I can tell already that Beckett will like to get into things he is not supposed to. He has the cutest smile and I sure do love him.
