Oh boy oh boy! My little man is 3! I was trying to get Ryker to take some cute pictures like I saw on pinterest but of course that didn't happen :(. Anyway I surprised Ryker with an avalanche of balloons when he opened his door this morning, He thought it was pretty cool. We had a small dance party in the kitchen. He had one of his favorite meals (oatmeal). He watched Cars while I got ready and got everyone else ready. We got chicken nuggets for lunch, played at Grandma's for the day. Later we headed to Chuck-E-Cheese for dinner. He seemed to have a great time. 

I remember how last year every time I tried to sing happy birthday to him he got a look of annoyance on his face and shook his head. Ryker loves to ask question and he loves to ask them a million times. He likes to pick what songs we listen to in car and demands we dance when a song he likes comes on. When he hears a train he puts his hand by his ear and says "I hears it?" He likes to go to our neighbor's house Vicki. He is very observant; he knows the way to places we go a lot, our house, and grandma’s ect. He loves to have books read to him, we read every night before bed and before naps. He is my handsome guy and I love him!

Super Hero Party

For Ryker's 3rd birthday I decided it would be fun to let him have a friend birthday party. WE invited his cousins and some of the neighbor boys. We went to the Alpine Splash pad. the boys had fun playing at the park and in the water. They ate some pizza and cupcakes then decorated their capes. My mom helped me sew capes for each of the boys, they turned out really cute. He opened presents and they played with the new toys. I hope that he had a good time.

Painting Project

I decided I was sick of my paint in my room and it was finally time to change it. It took about a month to do it. I got some paint but it turned out to look purple when I put it on. So I have to prime it and start over.

Girls Night

I love my girls and girls night! We always have so much fun catching up and chatting. This time we went to one of my favorite restaurant, Cheese Cake Factory. After Lindsay, Amy and I went to see Step Up 4. Which was cheesy but the dancing was good. We always have so much fun when we get together. Love You!

July and August

We had a fun few months. In July we went to the Nephi Rodeo. It is one of my favorite summer activities. The kids did a really good job, Ryker loved seeing the animals.

For the 24th we went with my family up the canyon for a picnic. It was really fun and only rained right when we were leaving. We did fireworks at my parents after. The twins loved them, they clapped the whole time. it was really fun. I love getting together with my family.

In August we went for a couple of hikes. First we hiked up Pleasant Grove canyon. A few minutes into the hike I remembered why I don't like hiking. My Brother-in-law was trying to be nice and carry Sophie but she wouldn't have it. She wouldn't even let Brad carry her. So I had to carry her up. It was fun once we got to the falls and cooled off.

A few weeks later we hiked to Stewart Falls. It was raining when we got up there so we just ate dinner in the car. The rain let up so we decided to hike. The way there was really nice  a little slow because Ryker was hiking but he did a really good job. On the way back it was getting dark so Brad and Karl went ahead. Jess carried Ryker a lot of the way so we could go faster. We saw huge spiders it was sick! Karl came back and got Ryker. The kids slept well that night.
