Swimming/ Sleeping

For the 1st two weeks of summer Ryker and I did a Mom and Me swim class! It was so much fun! I loved going out and being in the pool for a half hour everyday. Basically the class is to help get your child used to the water. I had no idea the first week what Ryker thought, he didn't cry, he didn't smile, he just sat there as serious as ever! It was so funny to watch him. The first time I dunked him I was ready for him to start crying but he didn't he just came out and started looking around. Towards the end of the lessons though he started to splash and talk, so I think he really enjoyed them, I know I did. I took the class with Mickelle, it was fun seeing her every day! I miss the classes already, I may just have to sign up for some classes in July.

Now for sleeping! (I had to share this) Now that Ryker has discovered he can move and crawl he is sleeping in some pretty crazy positions, I lay him down one way and when I come back to check on him I find him sleeping another way. Super cute but super uncomfortable.

Todd's Graduation/ My Birthday

Brad's younger brother graduated from high school! We are so happy for him and wanted to support him so we went to his graduation! However, after calling about 100 names and still having over 600 more to go, we got bored. So we used our camera to entertain us! Here are some samples of the pictures we took.

Good job Todd!

Now for my Birthday! Anyone who knows me, knows my birthday is a big deal to me. After much fasting and praying I decided to go to Cheesecake Factory for dinner and a Drive in movie with friends Saturday night, yum! Dinner with my parents Sunday, and a BBQ up the canyon on Monday with my family and Brad's family. It was 3 days of fun! I had a such a good birthday!

Cutest boy ever!

9 Months

Ryker has now been out as long as he was in! I can't believe it! He is doing so much now. About a week after he turned 9 months he started crawling. He pushes with one foot and drags his other knee! I love being out of school and watching him! He loves to play with the handles on our drawers (and has smashed his fingers in the drawers a few time). He is now in either 18 month clothes or 24 months! I have no idea what we are going to do when he grows out of those! He is such a "chill" baby, he kind of just goes with the flow. He is also becoming more vocal. I was shopping with him the other day and he was yelling at the top of his lungs as I walked up and down the isles. He is my little sweet pea and I love him so much!

So serious
Learning how to crawl but going backwards and ending up under the bed.
Daddy to the rescue!

Schools Out For Summer!

The last week of school may have been the longest week of the year! Not only did we have snow the last week, Ryker decided sleeping was overrated! So the kids were crazy and I was tired not a good combo! Needless to say when the last day ended I was relieved. I love teaching but I had a tough class this year, not to mention I wished I was at home with Ryker rather then at school! After the kids left we went to a luncheon for the teachers. It was fun and sad, I am going to miss Kristie and Mickelle, it was fun teaching with them. I am very, very ready for summer!
